The United Black Collegiate Association (UBCA), formerly known as Afrikan American Affairs, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit at the University of Texas at Austin. Following the closure of the Multicultural Engagement Center in 2024 due to Senate Bill 17, UBCA was founded to centralize the Black student voice on campus. Our core values—education, acceptance, motivation, and advocacy—guide our efforts to uplift and support the Black student community.
